unit3 has a pipeline of exciting residential and commercial projects being delivered over the next couple of years for various clients across the UK and internationally. Although we are not currently advertising, unit3 are always looking for and interested in meeting the most talented and determined individuals who would be interested in joining the studio.

Internships & Work Experience Placements

Work Experience: We are only able to accommodate a small number of work experience placements per year. Please contact the team for details – ideally 12 months in advance.

Voluntary and Unpaid Placements: In accordance with the RIBA and ARB Code of Conduct, we do not take on any unpaid internships or voluntary placements. We always pay our staff for the work they produce and believe in nurturing young talent, not exploiting it.

Legal: You should have a legal right to work in the UK – Unit3 will perform background checks and request 3 references from your past employers / contacts.

Software: Unit3 use a range of hardware and software packages depending on our clients needs and requirements. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with: Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp and Graphisoft Archicad.

Office and Home Working: We believe that sharing a space on a regular basis, interacting across the different parts of the company, and picking up on new threads and conversations together helps us to deliver great work and is an important and worthwhile part of our company culture. For that reason, we encourage office working as the norm. However, we will of course support flexible working and working from home where it is beneficial or necessary for the employee or company.
