Tremerchion, Flintshire Extension
RIBA Stages 0-5
A traditional Welsh stone cottage in Tremeirchion, originally with a small kitchen and outdated conservatory. A contemporary extension created a large open plan kitchen & dining area, with large windows to maximise the natural light into the space. Externally, the extension is clad in corrugated metal to maintain the rural vernacular of the site, while acting as a modern contrast to the traditional existing bulding.
