REWORKING A TERRACE HOUSE
RIBA Stages 0-7
Unit3 were asked to look at potential ways of reworking a 1900’s end-terrace property to improve the internal layout and increase the spaces whilst still allowing good natural daylighting into the rooms.
The solution was a combination of new structural openings (with the steel beams openly expressed and celebrated) alongside a large frameless glass infill and reclaimed brick walls.
