NEW PARK AND NORTHWAY PRIMARY SCHOOLS LIVERPOOL
RIBA Stages 3-7
Martin Shutt was project architect responsible for design coordination and delivery of two new build timber frame primary schools for Liverpool City Council. Involvement from RIBA Stage 3 through to completion working alongside the main contractor Morgan Sindall.
Scheme procured was through the NWCH and is an NEC Option C Form of Contract, design and build delivery. The schemes fully utilised BIM Lv.2 collaboration throughout all the design teams.
The timber frame solution presented a number of opportunities for innovative design and cost / area efficiencies that benefited both client and end-users. Contract value £4.9m / £5.5m
