Martin Shutt was project architect and contract administrator for the new £6m Croxteth Primary School in Croxteth, Liverpool. Involved from concept design with multiple stakeholders, through tender and procurement of information stages to appointment of the main contractor.
The building featured an innovative open-plan layout with minimal circulation space and maximum teaching space, immersive 4D interactive theatre, sedum roof, enclosed courtyards and a variety of renewable technologies.
