Kickstart

Unit3 are very pleased to be taking part in the Kickstart scheme with Transform Lives Company in helping young people get into the creative design industry. Being an SME company that received business start-up help when we formed in 2013, we were pleased to be able to give something back and give career opportunities to others. Similarly, having the placements funded by the government provides a low risk and win-win scenario for both employers and employees.

Using TLC as our gateway provider has been a joy since they have been friendly, informative and helpful regarding the process and always on hand to assist both us and the employees whenever we’ve had concerns or queries – they have made the entire process of recruitment and taking a Kickstart placement on very easy.

To date we have taken on two placements in our Liverpool Baltic studio – William Sarginson joined us in May as a trainee architectural assistant and Anna Parry joined us as an office manager in September. To date, both have excelled in their roles helping to grow the business and expand our client base and capabilities. We would fully recommend other employers taking advantage of the Kickstart scheme and using Transform Lives Company as their gateway provider.
