Unit3’s Scott Millington designs new concept HQ and Creative Hub Building for Channel 4 in Liverpool
Channel 4’s search for a location, called “4 All in the UK”, is the biggest structural change in its 35-year history, including three new “creative hubs”, with the largest to be a new national HQ that will have facilities including a TV studio and host executive and board meetings.
Scott designed the new theoretical HQ building for a site adjacent to The Albert Dock – currently a car park – as part of his final design project for his BA(Hons) qualification in Architecture at The University of Liverpool.
Both Scott’s models and drawings for the Channel 4 HQ building will be on display in the Unit3 gallery space throughout July-August for the public to view.
